It's difficult to convey just how small our kitchen really is. Normally the washing machine was further out so that it could be used to put the plates when dishing up dinner. On the left of the oven and opposite the washing machine; is where the fridge freezer goes but we removed it before we took the photo. Oven and fridge freezer are positioned where in what used to be the end of the hall, so that is why they are set back a little. Even though there is that tiny little bit of extra space there is not room for 2 people to work in the kitchen at the same time, without getting in each others way.

Wow! They have done so much!

All the units have been ripped out, old tiles taken down, oven, extraction fan and hob removed. Even the horrible old white sink and draining board has gone.

They also changed the washing machine connectors ready for our new one when we eventually find one. They even pulled back some more of the floor tiles around the edge so that the base units could be fitted at the right height.

The local shop that we ordered our tap from had major problems getting the tap delivered from manufacturers. Mark ended up buying our 2nd choice tap from another local shop ready for the kitchen fitters to fit the sink tomorrow.
